It is a pleasant 10 minute stroll from the villa to the local bakery where you can purchase freshly baked bread, rolls,cakes and savory pastries.
Next door to the bakery is a mini-market where guests can stock up on local olives, feta cheese and olive oil.
This part of Corfu has in the main retained its Greek identity with subtle tourism. In Springtime and Autumn, when the sun has lost its searing heat, it is perfect for walking, cycling, for those who like the countryside and visiting traditional villages.
